Shipping breakbulk requires a product specific approach: every shipment is different. The Container Freight Station (CFS) at Antwerp Gateway is equipped with specialized equipment and qualified staff for the efficient handling of all your import and export cargo. All CFS activities are performed within the ISPS area and are integrated in the quay side.
Stuffing & Stripping
Specialized equipment and qualified skilled staff ensure safe and efficient stuffing & stripping of the following commodities:

The Antwerp Gateway CFS has multi-modal access with an immediate connection to the European road, rail and waterway network. Goods can be delivered or picked up by truck, rail and barge and are stuffed into or stripped out of standard containers, flats and open top (OT) containers in a professional way. Special attention is paid to the seaworthy lashing and securing of the load.
Lashing & Securing
In order to transport goods safely it is essential that they are seaworthy lashed & secured. As safety is the top priority of DP World, lashing & securing is one of DP World Antwerp’s leading specialties.
Our experienced team is able to handle large cargo volumes at the same time. In a safe and efficient way, they make sure your cargo is seaworthy secured, paying attention to details, using the latest lashing techniques and in accordance with the most up-to-date standards and requirements.
DP World can at all times dispose of an extensive stock of materials and commonly used wood, debarked, heat treated and marked, according to ISPM15 rules.
In addition to the CFS activities DP World is also equipped to load/discharge commodities of exceptional weight and dimensions arriving or leaving as breakbulk cargo from/with container vessels into/from barges, railcars and trucks.
We can offer storage at our terminal for short and long term on a 10.000 m² area.
