    On the 26th of February at 21h45, Antwerp Gateway received a megamax vessel for the first time. The COSCO SHIPPING Aries has a capacity of 20,000+ TEU and is one of the largest vessels in the world.

    2 new mega gantry cranes will arrive at Antwerp Gateway

    On the 16th of January and the 20th of January, 2 new cranes will be transported to Antwerp Gateway at the Deurganckdock. That will bring the total to 11 ship-shore container gantries.

    DP World Antwerp publishes its first sustainability report

    DP World Antwerp presents its sustainable achievements from 2013 to 2016 in its first sustainability report. Some highlights include the terminal’s leadership position in safety within the port of Antwerp, its sustainable investments – such as efficient and energy saving automated stacking cranes, a windmill and a biogas plant, and its well trained and committed staff. The report is linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.

    New NET2 service in December @ Antwerp Gateway

    Yesterday the first departure of the NET service (North Europe / North Africa / Mediterranean) of Cosco Shipping started in Rotterdam. After Felixstowe and Hamburg, the first ship, the MV Hobby Hunter, will arrive on Saturday December 2nd at Antwerp Gateway to load for Casablanca, Piraeus, Alexandria (El Dekheila), Haifa and Mersin.
